Advanced Link Manager Review

Recently I came across Advanced Link Manager – link popularity and link manager tool. This software serves as advanced SEO tool and helps with managing and building links. I was surprised how good this piece of software really is. I will go through some of the major features, but I suggest you try it yourself, since the demo is free for use for one month, regardless of the license type you choose in this trial period.

This is a very robust piece of software, and in the next few paragraphs I will go through the features that made the best impression.
How it works:
- Start new project
- Advanced Link Manager gets the referrers from Google, Yahoo! and MSN index (it emulates human behaviour so you won’t get blocked – it takes some time)
- You can see the number of indexed pages and on Indexed pages section also the “evolution” of indexed pages in Search engines (after few updates)
- You can see the number of links, anchor text and type of link under “Referrers” and “Unverified Referrers” because Advanced Link Manager checks if the link reported by engines is real
- After that you can append your project with additional domains and search for cometitor’s backlinks
- When you find competitor’s backlinks and/or append the project with additional links, you can start sending link requests with built-in e-mail client that supports POP and IMAP e-mail accounts
- You can also import your contacts into built-in e-mail client
- What I liked the most is when examinig my potential link partners, Advanced Link Manager already crawled for additional e-mail addresses of each website, because, as you surely know if you’ve done some link buidling, is that some webmasters tend to use e-mail addresses hidden somewhere inside the website
- When you finished some link building and gathered link partners, you can assign status for each domain/referrer, so you don’t do additional job twice. Some of the statuses available are: Important, Paid link, Link Exchage, Blog, Directory, Forum, Freeware etc
- Besides of built in features, Advanced Link Manager comes with great “Link Manager Assistant” which is a shortcut panel to most used features. These features are:

In general, I must say that I am quite impressed with Advanced Link Manager due to it’s robustness and tons of built-in features. However, this is a tool for more serious link building, so if you need basic features for managing your link you can try different versions. Another software from Caphyon is Advanced Web Ranking. With Advanced Link ranking you can check search engine ranking and your website ranking. As with Advanced Link Manager, it comes in 4 different versions:

What I liked in this software:
- You can import multiple keywords from (for example) Google Analytics by exporting to .csv and than getting keywords into one txt file and re-importing to Advanced Web Ranking
- Selecting local versions of Google (especially good for Europe, where you have many languages)
- Rank evolution charts are especially nice
- Top Sites report where you can see where are your competitors
- Visibility index (very nice if you do some consulting jobs)
- Competition analysis for specific keywords
- Track changes for specific keywords
- Usage of Wordtracker
- Keyword suggestions when inputing single keywords
- Scheduled updates
In general, I would say that this software is a good buy for anyone who tracks rankings. Many companies and individual webmasters, just track changes in their analytics software (especially Google Analytics) which doesn’t show rankings for specific keywords. Having an close eye for best performing keywords is a key to online marketing success and I believe that Advanced Web Rankings is a good choice.

Con: nothing too serious, doesn’t take Google Analytics .csv by default
